These terms govern your use of BuySignal (buysignal.com.au). By using BuySignal, you agree to these terms.

2. The Service

BuySignal is a property intelligence platform for NSW, Australia. We aggregate publicly available data to generate suburb scores. Data sources include: NSW Bureau of Crime Statistics, Australian Bureau of Statistics, ACARA, NSW RFS, NSW DPE, NBN Co, NSW Valuer General, and OpenStreetMap.

3. Data Disclaimer

BuySignal provides informational data only
BuySignal is NOT financial advice, investment advice, or property valuation
Scores are algorithmically generated from public data and your selected weightings — they are not objective truth
Data may be delayed, incomplete, or contain errors from source providers
Always conduct your own due diligence and seek independent professional advice before making property purchase decisions
We are not a licensed financial adviser, real estate agent, or valuer
We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data

4. Accounts and Security

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use BuySignal. One account per person.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

Free tier: Basic property listings and top-level suburb scores
Pro tier: $29.99 AUD per month, includes all features
Payments processed by Stripe — we do not store your card details
Subscriptions renew automatically; cancel anytime from your account
Refunds: If BuySignal has a major failure under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a refund. For other refund requests, contact us within 14 days of payment

6. Acceptable Use

Do not scrape, bulk-download, or redistribute BuySignal data
Do not attempt to reverse-engineer scoring algorithms
Do not use BuySignal data to create a competing product
Do not share your account credentials

7. Intellectual Property

BuySignal's scoring algorithms, UI, and aggregated datasets are our intellectual property. Underlying public data remains the property of its respective sources. You may use BuySignal data for personal property research only.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, BuySignal is not liable for any loss, damage, or expense arising from your use of or reliance on the data provided. This includes financial losses from property purchase decisions. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of NSW.
